Last week, Locality Homes hosted our last blood drive of the year, and we are thrilled to announce that it was a huge success!
As usual, the blood drive was conducted in partnership with Jamie Kinman of Guaranteed Rate, our local Red Cross chapter, and Redemption Church, who so graciously lent us their space.
In total, we were able to collect an impressive 28 units of blood, which was five units over our initial goal! These 28 units were given by 23 unique donors, 4 of which were donating for the very first time. According to our local Red Cross representative, these units were much needed during these challenging times and as such, the organization was thrilled with the turnout. They also wanted to express their gratitude for all you lovely folks who came out and donated.
Our goal was 23 units and we collected 28 units. Amazing and just WOW!!! These were much needed units and it is potentially 28+ lives impacted (Phenomenal!!! – Hero’s!), so the ultimate goal of saving lives was absolutely achieved!

And, of course, we owe a huge debt of gratitude to you guys as well. It is because of your continued support that we are able to give back to this community that we love so much.
We’d also like to give a special shout out to our team and volunteers who put in the effort behind the scenes to organize the event, provide refreshments for donors, and make sure everything ran smoothly.
This blood drive was a prime example of what we can achieve when we come together as a community. And we’re not planning on stopping any time soon!
It’s never too late to start donating blood and we host several blood drives every year. All you have to do is sign up for one of our upcoming events at www.mvblooddrive.com.
Thanks again, and we hope to see you all in January! Here’s to saving even more lives.
